Rx. Codonopsis Dang Shen 12g Tonifies the Middle Jiao, augments Qi, tonifies the Lungs, nourishes the Blood and promotes the generation of Body Fluids.
With Wu Wei Zi and Mai Men Dong, for injury to Qi and fluids with shortness of breath and thirst.
Tub. Ophiopogonis Mai Men Dong 12g Nourishes Yin, moistens the Lungs, generates Fluids, stops cough, clears Heat from the Heart and eliminates irritability.
With Sheng Di Huang, for hematemesis or epistaxis due to Yin Deficiency with Excess Heat.
Fr. Schisandrae Wu Wei Zi 12g Astringes Lung Qi, generates Fluids, tonifies Qi and nourishes Kidney Yin.
Rx. Rehmanniae Sheng Di Huang 12g Clears Heat, cools the Blood, nourishes Yin, generates fluids and increases saliva.
Fr. Corni Shan Zhu Yu 12g Stabilizes the Kidneys, astringes Jing and Body Fluids, stops excessive sweating, supports that which has collapsed, tonifies Liver and Kidney Yin and strengthens Kidney Yang.
With Wu Wei Zi, for spermatorrhea, abnormal sweating, palpitations and shortness of breath due to Yin and Yang Deficiency of the Liver and Kidneys.
Fr. Lycii Gou Qi Zi 12g Tonifies the Liver and Kidneys, warms and stabilizes the Kidneys and prevents leakage.
Rx. Glycyrrhizae Gan Cao 12g Tonifies the Spleen, augments Qi, moderates and harmonizes the harsh properties of other herbs and guides the herbs to all twelve channels.
